About Conserve Helium
Why Conserve Helium connects science, history and practical conservation—and how we distinguish evidence from advocacy.
Honor its service. Preserve its possibilities.
Helium has helped people see inside the body, explore matter, manufacture technology and work in demanding environments. Conserve Helium is a public education and conservation project organized by Christopher M. Sullivan. Our aim is to explain those services clearly and encourage careful stewardship of a finite, recoverable resource.
Evidence and advocacy
We advocate reducing avoidable helium losses. Our factual explanations draw on identified sources, including public agencies, scientific institutions and manufacturers. A supplier’s product claim remains a supplier’s claim; an announced project remains a plan until evidence establishes its operation. We welcome documented corrections.

The Rocky Mountain Helium archive
Christopher M. Sullivan has a connection to the Rocky Mountain Helium, LLC effort that motivates a separate historical archive covering 1995–2017. That archive is reserved for a later project phase. It will distinguish the participants’ accounts, contemporaneous documents, agency positions and court findings.
The broader applications described here do not establish that Rocky Mountain Helium supplied helium to a particular clock, hospital, semiconductor facility or research institution.
